Art. 6 — MRV duties (obligations of sources)
Definition
(1) periodically **measure and monitor** GHG emissions; (2) maintain **records** of emissions and reductions (retention periods per implementing regs); (3) submit **periodic reports** to the competent authority (MOCCAE/local authorities); (4) **verify** reported data through **accredited third-party verifiers**; (5) implement **emission reduction plans**; (6) register on the **NRCC (National Register for Carbon Credits)** where applicable.
