The largest voluntary carbon standard and registry: methodologies, independent validation/verification, and issuance of VCUs. VCS Version 5 (issued December 2025) is live; most v5 requirements are mandatory for new projects from 1 January 2027. ICVCM-approved categories carry the CCP label.
