The OECD-developed metric counting all official and officially mobilised support for sustainable development — beyond traditional aid.

Established · Editorial draft

Definition

Total Official Support for Sustainable Development is an international statistical framework, developed through an OECD-convened task force, measuring the full range of officially supported resources flowing to sustainable development: concessional and non-concessional official finance, private finance mobilised by official interventions, and support to global public goods. It complements Official Development Assistance (ODA) by capturing South-South cooperation, triangular cooperation and mobilised private finance that ODA excludes, aligned with SDG target 17.3.
