The UNFCCC's standing body overseeing implementation — reviewing national reports, transparency and the administrative machinery of the regime.
Definition
The Subsidiary Body for Implementation is one of two permanent subsidiary bodies of the UNFCCC, meeting at least twice a year. It assists the COP in assessing and reviewing implementation of the Convention, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement: considering national communications and biennial transparency reports, overseeing the Enhanced Transparency Framework, guiding the financial mechanism, and handling budgetary and institutional matters.
