Definition
Repetitive strain injury is an umbrella term for disorders of muscles, tendons and nerves — such as tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and epicondylitis — caused or aggravated by repetitive movements, forceful exertion, vibration, and sustained or awkward postures at work.
