Definition
The Petersberg Climate Dialogue is an annual high-level political forum convened by the German government — traditionally co-chaired with the incoming COP presidency — bringing together ministers from a representative group of countries to build trust and explore compromises ahead of each UNFCCC Conference of the Parties. It has met annually since 2010, named after its original venue near Bonn.
